Privacy Policy

Simple, honest, and straight to the point — just like the app.

The short version: Trio stores all your data locally on your device. We don't collect it, we don't store it on servers, and we don't share it with anyone. Ever.

This Privacy Policy describes how Lumacrest Digital ("we", "our", or "us") handles information in connection with your use of Trio, a habit tracking application for iOS ("the App"). This policy applies to all users of the App and is intended to help you understand what information the App uses and how it is handled.

By downloading or using Trio, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the App.

1. Information We Collect

Trio does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. The App has no user accounts, no analytics integration, no advertising identifiers, and no connection to any remote database.

All data you enter into Trio — including your habit names, streak counts, completion history, and app preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard local storage mechanisms (UserDefaults and App Groups).

2. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored in two locations, both entirely on your device:

  • The main app container, which stores your habits, streaks, and completion history
  • A shared app group container, which allows the Trio home screen widget to access the same data

Neither of these storage locations is accessible to Lumacrest Digital or any third party. Your data does not leave your device unless you choose to back it up using Apple's iCloud or iTunes services, which are governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy.

3. Push Notifications

Trio may request permission to send you local push notifications for daily habit reminders and streak protection alerts. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and are not routed through any external server or notification service operated by Lumacrest Digital.

You may enable or disable notifications at any time by navigating to Settings → Notifications → Trio on your iOS device, or through the settings screen within the App.

4. In-App Purchases

Trio offers optional one-time tip purchases through Apple's StoreKit framework. All payment transactions are processed exclusively by Apple Inc. and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Lumacrest Digital does not receive, process, or store any payment card information or billing details.

5. Third-Party Services

Trio does not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or data brokers. No third-party SDKs that collect user data are included in the App.

6. Children's Privacy

Trio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, or from any user regardless of age. Because no data is collected or transmitted at all, the App does not present privacy risks for users of any age group.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You may delete all data associated with Trio at any time by using the "Reset All Data" option within the App's settings, or by deleting the App from your device entirely.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Any future changes to this policy will never introduce new data collection practices without clear and explicit disclosure.
